The Honor 4C was released in April 2015 running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It
received Android Lollipop in September the same year and is on the list
to receive Marshmallow. But when should we expect the Android 6.0
Marshmallow update to arrive?
Honor has confirmed that Honor 4C is one of the devices due to get the
Marshmallow upgrade, and that the update would begin rolling out in
February this year. That means it will only be a few weeks before Honor
phones start to get the Marshmallow treatment, although it's unlikely
that the Honor 4C will be first among them.
The Honor 4C will probably lag behind the Honor 7, Honor 6 and Honor 6
Plus in the update schedule, but the good news is that it should still
be one of the first Honor devices to get it.
The Honor 4C Marshmallow update should bring with it some great new features. When Lollipop landed on the 4C
it introduced time-lapse videos, improved notification access and
hidden apps; hopefully Honor will do similarly good things with Android Marshmallow.
What do you hope gets improved in the latest Honor 4C software? Let us know in the comments.
